a Modern take on a halloween inspired wedding
Cassandra Daye Photography and Katie Kauffmann, from Cheer and Dear, paired up to plan and execute this beautiful styled shoot, in which they chose to include many talented Brooklyn vendors. They took inspiration from the ‘Day of the Dead’ along with the Mexican roots of the Gran Electrica, and mixed those elements with the whimsical carousel and surrounding iconic DUMBO areas to bring forth the vision of “Til Death Do us Part(y)”. By doing so, they were able to create a chic take on a Halloween Inspired Wedding without using over the top decorations and makeup.

the color palette
…came to life by merging Cassandra’s moody, saturated photography with Katie’s colorful and classic design aesthetic. By mixing these two themes along with some ‘Day of the Dead’ flare, they landed on something whimsical, colorful and a little bit “dark”. In my opinion, a fresh new take that made the perfect palette for a modern Halloween inspired wedding.

The beautiful bride wore custom fringe earrings (that are now an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE style) and the ethereal SELENE veil. The ring was shown in a beautiful rust colored diamond ring box which just happened to match the earrings and color palette perfectly. Click on the below photos to shop these accessories!
